Wideband Slot Array Antenna Fed by Open-Ended Rectangular Waveguide at W-Band

چکیده

A wideband slot array antenna at W-band with a single-layer corporate feeding network is presented in this letter. The radiating slots are fed by open-ended rectangular waveguides to widen the impedance bandwidth instead of commonly used coupling mechanism. subarray two elements placed H-plane designed. In order fit into one layer, compact hybrid used, which combination ridge and E-plane hollow waveguides. An 8-by-8-elements simulated fabricated brass. Two metal layers assembled bottom edge waveguide minimize power leakage through gap. measured prototype achieves relative 35.7% reflection coefficient below −10 dB from 77.5 111.2 GHz. peak gain 26.8 dBi variations within 2.5 obtained. radiation patterns agree simulations quite well, reduction remains 1 operating range.
